Upgrading a tower will increase it’s Rank by 1. When a tower reaches a new Rank, some of its stats will improve. Each tier of a tower must be Ranked up independently from other Tiers. As a rough estimate, a Rank 5 tower is as strong as a Rank 1 tower of the tier above.
